Reiter named CUW Female Athlete of the Year
MEQUON, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin junior Sammi Reiter has been named the Athletic Department's Female Athlete of the Year. Reiter, who was honored for her outstanding play during the 2013-14 season, was a member of both the Women's Lacrosse and Women's Hockey teams.
The CUW Athletic Department will also be naming a Male Athlete of the Year later this week, in addition to the Career Achievement Awards announced two weeks ago. Head coaches were allowed to nominate one student-athlete in their sport for the Athlete of the Year honors, which were then voted on by a committee. The Athlete of the Year awards can go to any student-athlete at CUW, regardless of year.

She was named the Midwest Women's Lacrosse Conference Offensive Player of the Year, as well as being an All-MWLC First Team selection.
