CUW men’s athletic programs win NAC All-Sport Award

WAUKESHA, Wis. –
Concordia University Wisconsin's nine men's athletic programs combined to win the Northern Athletics Conference All-Sports Award, the league office announced Thursday afternoon.

The Falcons captured NAC Tournament championships in cross country, tennis, indoor and outdoor track & field. CUW also won regular season titles in basketball and tennis.

CUW had an 11.06 index in the standings, ahead of runner-up Benedictine University's 10.75 and third place Edgewood College's 10.31.

CUW's men's programs also won the NAC All-Sports Award during the 2009-10 athletic year, while its women's programs combined to win the award during the 2007-08, 2008-09, 2009-10 and 2010-11 athletic years.

The All-Sports Award is a ranking system that compiles the overall finishes of each team in the NAC and awards them a point value based on their place in the standings.
