CUW Halo Competed in the Inaugural Season of the League

MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW Halo team had an uphill battle from the start. With the game being three months old at the creation of the team, none of the players were seasoned veterans in the game. Within a month of the start date, the Halo League formed out of the ground.

The Blue and White are one of the 20 foundational teams to begin the national league.

Head coach Lewis Smith was very proud of the dedication he saw from the team and the speed with which it came together. Not only were the players new to each other, but they were also new to the game. "This team came together quickly, and completely bought in from the start. Despite a rough start to the season, every player was completely determined to get better and it all paid off. We got better each week and it makes the future of this young title look very bright."

The Falcons are ready for a bigger scene and more experience in the upcoming 2022-23 season.
