New Week Means More Esports
MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW esports team started a new round of playoff matchups on Monday.
Some of the big battles to look at are the Call of Duty (CoD) matchup with Wisconsin and the Rocket League matchup with Alabama.
In the CoD matchup, the Falcons were forced to survive a three-match gauntlet before the main playoff bracket. The Falcons have come out victorious in two so far. Can they beat this rival Wisconsin team for the chance at a championship? Only time will tell.
Only four teams remain in the META League playoffs for Rocket League. The Falcons are playing underdog here as the lowest seed of the 4 teams, but it is a role the team is comfortable with. Falcons have the scrappy, small-school edge to them and look forward to taking down the power schools, like Alabama.
