Big Week of in-state Battles Ahead for Esports
MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW esports team kicks off their first full week of regular-season competition this week with a slate of thrilling matches.
Monday night the Valorant team kicks off the week with a NECC regular-season matchup with the Marian Sabres. Last we saw the Valorant team, they had been eliminated in the semifinals of the Fall portion of their season. Coming into the year with a revamped lineup, the Falcons have their eyes on a championship with Marian being the first in a long line to get there.
The Collegiate CoD League had been rolling for the Falcons for a couple of weeks. This week's matchup comes from down the road with Carroll esports. The Falcons look to hold onto their Wisconsin CoD supremacy with a win over Carroll.
This is the first year there will be a true Stat Champion for collegiate Rainbow 6 Siege. Six universities are vying for the title of best in the state. The brand-new Wisconsin R6 league kicks off with its first-ever event with a matchup between CUW and Marquette on Thursday night.
