Falcons Fall to Coe

WAUKESHA, Wis. – The CUW men's basketball team traveled to Waukesha, Wisconsin on Saturday to take on the Kohawks at the Carroll University Classic.

The Falcons and the Kohawks were tied going into the half at 40 after a three-point basket fell for senior Jordan Johnson (Cedarburg, Wis.).

The Kohawks took over in the second half scoring a total of 49 points to the Falcon 39 giving them the edge with the final score of 89-79.

The Falcons were led in scoring by Johnson who also was the game's leading scorer with 24 points.  Johnson also added four rebounds and two assists to his total.

Senior Brandon Keller (Plymouth, Wis.) posted a double-double with his 13 points and 13 boards also adding three assists.

The Falcons brought in 22 points off the bench with sophomore Sam Meerstein (Green Bay, Wis.) leading the bench with nine.

Jordan Johnson was named to the All-Tournament Team.

The Falcons hit the road again on Wednesday as they take on No. 5-ranked Wisconsin-Platteville.
