Jordan Johnson Signs a Contract to Play in Denmark

MEQUON, Wis. – Jordan Johnson signed a contract to play basketball professionally in Europe.

Johnson signed to play with BK Amager in Copenhagen, Denmark.

"I am excited to begin my lifelong dream of playing professional basketball overseas," said Jordan Johnson. "I am blessed to have this opportunity and can't thank God, my family, friends, coaches, teammates, and trainers I've had throughout my career enough to help me reach this level of basketball."

BK Amager competes in the Basketligaen, the highest professional basketball level in Denmark.

The Cedarburg, Wisconsin, native will depart for Europe in August.

Johnson finished his career as one of the most decorated student-athletes in Concordia Wisconsin history.

He finished as the program leader in scoring, rebounding, free throws, defensive rebounds and field goals.

Johnson earned All-American honors this season from the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) on the third team.

He was also a two-time Academic All-American, claiming the honor from the College Sports Information Directors of America in 2021 and 2022.

The Wisconsin native is one of two Concordia Wisconsin student-athlete to repeat as a CoSIDA Academic All-American.

Jordan Johnson is a five-time All-NACC selection and the 2022 NACC Player of the Year.

Johnson earned NABC All-District Team and the D3Hoops.com All-Region Team.
