Malcolmson and Way Claim All-Region Accolades
TROY, Mich. - On Monday afternoon, the American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) released its 2022-23 All-Region athletes. Members of the first team will be eligible for selection to the National All-Athletic team.
The Central Region saw a pair of Falcons on their list.
Junior Ian Malcolmson (Waukesha, Wis.) claimed a spot on the All-Region First Team. Malcolmson finished with a total of 76 points with 22 goals and 54 assists.
Senior Alex Way (Ottawa, Ont.) finished with a nation-leading 83 points with 41 goals and 42 assists. His name ended up on the All-Region Second Team list.
The Falcons are back in action as the No. 1 seed in the ACHA Division II Central Region Tournament this weekend and will play the lowest remaining seed after round one.
