Malcolmson Secures ACHA All-Athletic Honors

TROY, Mich. – The American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) announced its 2022-23 Men's Division II All-Athletic Team on Wednesday afternoon and named Ian Malcolmson one of 12 players in the nation to the team.  Malcolmson secured First-Team honors as a forward.

A junior from Waukesha, Wisconsin, Ian Malcolmson is claiming the honor for the first time in his career and the second time in program history since Trenton Sherman in the 2020-21 season.

This season, Malcolmson scored 22 goals and assisted on 54 more for a total of 76 points.  He led the nation in assists and was third in total points.  Malcolmson recorded game-winning goals on four occasions with the latest coming against Lewis in the NCHL Conference Tournament.

The Blue and White continue their 2022-23 campaign in the ACHA National Tournament for the second time in program history with the first coming the same year that Sherman was named an All-American in 2020-21.
