Malcolmson Named Central Region Player of the Year
TROY, Mich. - The American Collegiate Hockey Association (ACHA) Division II Central region individual awards were announced on Friday morning and a Falcon appeared in the running.
A junior from Waukesha, Wisconsin, Ian Malcolmson is claiming the ACHA Division II Central Region Player of the Year for the first time not only in his career but in the history of the program as well.
Malcolmson averaged 2.11 points per game with 76 total points (22 goals and 54 assists). He led the nation in assists and was third in total points.
The Falcons continue their season in the ACHA Division II Central Region Tournament when they take on a team yet to be named on Saturday evening.
