Men’s Track & Field Competes at Whitewater

WHITEWATER, Wis. – The CUW men's track & field team competed at the Wisconsin-Whitewater Karl Schlender Invitational on Saturday. The Falcons finished in fifth place with 34 points. The host Warhawks won with 195 points.

Junior Konnor Kingsmore (Colorado Springs, Colo.) recorded a fourth-place mark of 12.90 meters in the triple jump.

In the 800-meter run, junior Easton Becker (Ankeny, Iowa) ran a fifth-place time of 1:28.97.

The 60-meter hurdles saw sophomore Jacob Kelm (Cedarburg, Wis.) claim a fifth-place finish at 8.93. His time is the seventh-fastest in school history.

Sophomore Robert Taylor (Miami, Fla.) finished in sixth place in the 60-meter dash at 7.32 with the sixth-fastest time in school history. He also led the flock in the 200-meter dash at 23.85 in 10th place.

Freshman Jacob Couillard (Kingsford, Mich.) sat in seventh place in the high jump at 1.71 meters.

Junior Seth Day (Sunset Hills, Mo.) led the flock in the shot put in seventh place at 12.67 meters.

Senior William Ebel (Macomb, Mich.) earned an eighth-place time of 2:06.54 in the 800-meter run.

Junior Dane Tischendorf (Antigo, Wis.) led a back-to-back finish for the Falcons in the 400-meter run in seventh place at 54.78, just ahead of senior Christian Prohl (Downers Grove, Wis.) in eighth place at 54.79.

Freshman Nate Waech (West Bend, Wis.) reached 3.65 meters in the pole vault in ninth place.

Freshman Mitchell Moeller (Cedarburg, Wis.) threw a mark of 11.93 meters in the weight throw in ninth place.

Sophomore Alex Tran (Wausau, Wis.) finished with a mark of 5.97 meters in the long jump in ninth place.

In the distance medley relay, the team of Easton Becker, Christian Prohl, sophomore Joshua Peterson (Palatine, Ill.) and William Ebel clocked in at 11:31.76 in fifth place.

The team of Christian Prohl, Dane Tischendorf, junior Paul Witto (Charleston, S.C.) and Nate Waech finished in eighth place in the 4x400 meter relay at 3:43.84.

Freshman Dominic Willadsen crossed the finish line in the 3000-meter run at 10:04.70 in 11th place.

The Falcons return to action on Feb. 5 at Ripon.
