Gideon Cain Collects NACC Weekly Honor
MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced Gideon Cain as its Student-Athlete of the Week for Men's Indoor Track & Field on Tuesday morning.
A senior from Cedarburg, Wisconsin, Gideon Cain is claiming the honor for the sixth time in his career and for the first time this season.
At the Wisconsin-Oshkosh Early Bird Invite, he broke his own school record in the shot put with a first-place mark of 16.07 meters. He also won the weight throw competition with a mark of 16.36 meters.
Cain and the Falcons return to action on Jan. 15 at Carthage.
