Falcons drop road game to Eagles

MADISON, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin was within eight points at halftime, but Edgewood pulled away in the second half during the 77-55 NACC game on Wednesday night inside the Edgedome.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons came out and overcame some okay shooting in the first half with 11 offensive rebounds that they converted in second-chance opportunities. At the intermission, junior Emily Hafemann (Hales Corners, Wis.) had netted 11 points and grabbed five rebounds.
- Edgewood came out of the locker room after the intermission and turned its single-digit advantage in double-figures and never looked back. They shot 50-plus percent in each quarter and 63.6 percent in the third quarter.
- Hafemann led the Falcons with 13 points, while senior Katilyn Foster (Janesville, Wis.) had 12 points. Sophomore Camryn Szolyga (Waukesha, Wis.) posted 11 points and seven rebounds.
- The Eagles were led by Alyssa Lemirande who had 18 points and 11 assists, while Emma Klein scored 18 points. Bria Lemirande posted 12 points, 11 rebounds and five assists.
