Falcons fall in CIT title game to No. 3 Bulldogs

RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- Concordia Wisconsin did everything it could, but in the end, they suffered a 102-47 loss to Concordia Nebraska in the CIT title game on Saturday inside Geiseman Gymnasium. The Bulldogs are ranked No. 3 in the latest NAIA Division II poll.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Concordia Wisconsin played its best in the second quarter, scoring 18 points and shooting 36.4 percent from the field. The Falcons made 19 free throws and scored 20 points in the paint. They also tallied 13 fast break points and received 17 points from the bench.
- Junior Emily Hafemann (Hales Corners, Wis.) had a team-high nine points, while senior Kaitlyn Foster (Janesville, Wis.) netted eight points. Freshman Camryn Kratt (Cudahy, Wis.) had eight rebounds, while Hafemann and sophomore Camryn Szolyga (Waukesha, Wis.) each had two steals. In all, 10 players found the scoring column.
