Falcons score when needed

SHEBOYGAN, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin trailed by seven points with nine minutes to play but turned on the offense from then on for a 22-7 scoring run and an eventual 66-58 NACC victory at Lakeland inside Woltzen Gymnasium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons trailed 55-41 with eight minutes and 54 seconds to play in the league game against the Muskies. Up to that point, the game was even but the deep ball began to fall, along with a few layups. Junior Clara Chambers (Mineral Point, Wis.) made a 3-pointer on three-straight possessions to jump-start the offense.
- During the 22-7 scoring run, Concordia Wisconsin made six triples and also had two layups. Along with Chambers' deep shooting, senior Kaitlyn Foster (Janesville, Wis.) had a pair of long balls and junior Hannah Boettcher (Columbus, Wis.) drained one of her own.
- The Falcons were efficient with 18 assists on 24 field goals and scored 18 points off 13 Muskie turnovers.
- Foster ended with a game-high 20 points on 6-of-12 shooting (six free throws), to go along with four rebounds, five assists and two steals. Chambers tallied 19 points, six rebounds and two assists. Boettcher had six points, eight rebounds and three assists. Sophomore Camryn Szolyga (Waukesha, Wis.) ended with five rebounds and two blocks, while sophomore Aubrey Buchholtz (Seymour, Wis.) scored 11 points in 12 minutes off the bench.
- Lakeland was led by Ellie Felsinger who had 13 points off the bench.
