MEQUON, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin came out of halftime fired up and put its foot down on the pedal and ran away with an 80-50 NACC victory over Marian on Saturday afternoon inside the R. John Buuck Field House.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Falcons led by just 13 at the intermission, but blew the game wide open with 25 points in the third quarter behind nearly 56 percent shooting. They led by 24 points after 30 minutes of action and cruised to another home victory.
- Concordia Wisconsin was led by the outstanding performance of junior Clara Chambers (Mineral Point, Wis.) who had 21 points and a career-best 15 rebounds. She drained four 3-pointers and was 7-of-9 from the free-throw line.
- The hosts dominated the class with 55 total rebounds, which included 19 on the offensive glass. They turned those second-chance opportunities into 19 points. Defensively, they limited Marian to a dismal 3-of-26 (11.5 percent) from beyond the 3-point line.
- Senior Kaitlyn Foster (Janesville, Wis.) had 13 points, while junior Emily Hafemann (Hales Corners, Wis.) scored 10 points. Freshman Lindsey Smitsdorff (Coon Rapids, Minn.) had a noteworthy game with 12 points, seven rebounds, three assists and two blocks in 11 minutes of action off the bench.
- Marian was led by Paris Harris who had 11 points and five rebounds off the bench.
