Falcon Frenzy showcases basketball programs
MEQUON, Wis. - The Concordia
University Wisconsin Athletics Department hosted its inaugural
Falcon Frenzy event on Wednesday night to showcase the 2011-12
men's and women's basketball teams in front of hundreds of fans at
the R. John Buuck Field House.
The night consisted of several
fan contests, along with the men's and women's team participating
in an intra-squad scrimmage. Also on hand were the cheer and dance
teams, along with the pep band. To conclude the event both teams
celebrated their sixth man, the fans; as an entire group photo was
taken.
The men's team opens their season
on Nov. 15 on the road at UW-La Crosse at 7 p.m. The women's team
also begins their season on road with a 7 p.m. matchup at Beloit
College.
