Men’s Basketball hosts Silver Lake tonight at 7 p.m.
MEQUON, Wis.
- After shooting a sizzling 62.5 percent from the field on
Tuesday, the Concordia University Wisconsin men's basketball team
looks to continue its hot shooting on tonight at 7 p.m. when it
hosts Silver Lake College in a non-conference matchup inside the R.
John Buuck Field House.

The Falcons' 89-68 Northern
Athletics Conference victory over Wisconsin Lutheran College on
Tuesday was a complete team effort as every Falcon (4-1) played at
least three minutes on the hardwood. Multiple players had career
nights scoring, most notably senior Mitchell Schneider (New
Holstein, Wis.) and junior Brian Jackson (Carol Stream, Ill.) who
scored 26 and 15 points respectively.
Thus far in the season, senior
Luke Doedens (Cedarburg, Wis.) and Schneider lead the team with
18.4 and 18.0 points per game averages. The two have combined to
steal 20 passes, while senior Matt Paluchniak (Oostburg, Wis.) has
dished out 20 assists.
Silver Lake (1-6) enters
the contest on a six-game losing streak since defeating Purdue
University North Central, 75-65, in the Lakers' season opener. The
Lakers are averaging 63.9 points per game. SLC's roster is a
veteran squad with 8 players being upperclassmen.
CUW returns to NAC action on
Saturday when it travels to Benedictine for a 4:30 p.m. matchup.
The game is the second part of a doubleheader after the CUW-
Benedictine women tip off at 2 p.m.
