Madelyn Alton Earns NACC Defensive Player of the Week Title

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced Madelyn Alton as the Defensive Student-Athlete of the Week in Women's Volleyball on Tuesday morning.

A junior from Farwell, Minnesota, Madelyn Alton is claiming the NACC honor for the first time this season and for the second time in her career.

Last week, collected 56 digs as Concordia Wisconsin went 4-0. After outings in 3-0 wins over Alverno (three digs) and Saint Mary's of Minnesota (six digs, seven assists), she was credited with 37 digs, six assists, and a pair of service aces in a 3-1 victory over No. 24 Carthage. Alton capped her weekend with 10 digs and three assists in a 3-0 win over Carroll.

Madelyn Alton and the Falcons return to action on Tuesday against Carthage.
