MEQUON, Wis. – The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) once again recognized varsity ice hockey players who compiled exceptional results in the classroom during the 2021-22 season with the announcement of the sixth annual "Krampade All-American Scholars."

The CUW women's hockey program had five student-athletes qualify for the honor.

A senior forward from Billings, Montana, Emily Reimche is claiming the title for the third time.

A junior goaltender from Castle Rock, Colorado, Annalina Van Hercke and senior defender Sarah Tretina, from Plainfield, Illinois, are making their second appearance on the AHCA All-American Scholar team.

The goaltending duo of freshman Kami McCardle from Jackson, Wisconsin, and freshman Cheree Peters from Vernon, British Columbia,  are making their first appearance.

To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA each semester and appear in 40% of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and backup goaltenders.

The names of 647 Division II-III men (368) and women (279) are being released today, with their Division I counterparts to be announced in the coming weeks.
