Women’s Hockey Projected Fifth in NCHA Preseason Poll

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) announced its women's coaches' preseason poll on Friday morning. The coaches in the league picked the Falcons to finish in fifth place.

The Falcons earned 42 points in the poll to sit in fifth place.

The defending champion, Adrian Bulldogs are projected to defend their title with 64 points and eight first-place votes. Aurora is in second place with 50 points. Lake Forest and St. Norbert both earned 48 points, with the Foresters earning a first-place vote.

The Falcons finished in second place in the NCHA North Division last year with a 6-2-0 record.

The Blue and White open the 2021-22 season on Nov. 2 against the Vikings of Lawrence.
