DE PERE, Wis. – The CUW women's ice hockey team traveled up to De Pere, Wisconsin for a rematch of Friday's matchup.
The matchup between the Green Knights and the Falcons started even with no scores in the first two periods. In the third minute of the third period, senior Baileigh Johnson (Neillsville, Wis.) netted an even-strength goal to give the Falcons the 1-0 lead and eventually the win. Johnson was assisted by senior Sarah Tretina (Plainfield, Ill.)
Junior goalie Annalina Van Hercke (Castle Rock, Colo.) snagged 27 saves in her 60 minutes between the posts.
The Falcons travel to Aurora to take on the Spartans on Friday at 3:00.
