MEQUON, Wis. – The Green Knights spoiled the Pink the Rink festivities on Friday night with a 2-0 victory. St. Norbert improves to 9-2-0 and remains perfect at 5-0-0 in the NCHA.
St. Norbert struck first late in the second period on the power play. The Green and Gold scored again in the third period on the power play.
CUW outshot St. Norbert on Friday, 28-20. Freshman Brooke Gibson (LaSalle, Ont.) and freshman Erika Graham (Brighton, Mich.) had four shots against St. Norbert.
Junior Annalina Van Hercke (Castle Rock, Colo.) finished the night with 18 saves.
The Falcons look to level the series on Saturday at St. Norbert.
