Box Score: AC 5, CUW 1

ADRIAN, Mich. - A day after falling 9-2, the Concordia University Wisconsin men's hockey team lost 5-1 against Adrian College on Saturday afternoon inside the Arrington Ice Arena.

CUW (2-18-3, 2-14-2 MCHA) got a goal from sophomore Dan Shilts (New Richmond, Wis.) to tie the game at 1-1 in the second period, but it was all Adrian after that.

The Bulldogs (17-5-1, 15-2-1 MCHA) showed why they have more points than anyone else in the MCHA, as they outshot the Falcons 50-27 and scored four unanswered goals after Shilts' equalizer.

Freshman goalie Josh Lehr (Appleton, Wis.) made 45 saves for the Falcons in the loss.

For Adrian, Josh Cousineau had a big game, scoring twice while adding an assist.

The Falcons will now have a week of practice before a two-game home-and-home series against Marian University next weekend.
