MCHA Players of the Week

Concordia University Falcons sophomore forward Russell Johnson (Monticello, Minn.) is the MCHA Player of the Week for his role in getting CUW its first victory of the season.

The PE/health major recorded just the second hat trick in program history, scoring once in the first period and twice in the third against Lake Forest. He had the game-winner and also added an assist to his night on the ice.

-Milwaukee School of Engineering Raiders senior goalie Connor Toomey (Burlington, MA) earns the MCHA Defensive Player of the Week award for helping the Raiders to their first-ever victory over Adrian College (had been 0-18-1). Not only did he post 49 saves (.942 save % in two games) and a 1.50 GAA, but his win Friday was career victory No. 47 to top the all-time MSOE career list.

-Other nominees: Jameson Raymond (Lawrence), Mitch Kriz (Marian), Michael Schenfeld (MSOE)
