Falcon ‘N Focus: Men’s Hockey Season Preview
MEQUON, Wis. - Head
coach Tony Hrkac and the Concordia University Wisconsin men's
hockey team begin their fifth season of competition on Friday with
a non-conference matchup against UW-Stout at 7 p.m. at the Dunn
County Ice Arena.

The Falcons return a cast
of veterans and welcome a slew of freshman looking to improve upon
last season, in which they finished the 2010-11 campaign with a 5-4
home victory over Lake Forest College.
CUW's schedule to open the season
will be difficult as UW-Stout is receiving votes in the USCHO.com
top-15 poll. The Falcons begin their home portion of the schedule
against the defending national champions and No. 1-ranked St.
Norbert College on Tuesday, Oct. 25 at 7 p.m. at the Ozaukee Ice
Center. CUW then opens its Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association
portion of the schedule with a home-and-home against No. 14 MSOE on
Friday, Oct. 28 at 7 p.m.
