Women's Basketball ends regular season at Marian

MEQUON, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin travels to Marian University on Tuesday for a 7 p.m. matchup inside Sadoff Gymnasium to end the regular season. The Falcons and Sabres have yet to compete against each other this season.

CUW (20-4, 16-3 NACC) has secured the No. 2 seed for the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament, while MU is fighting for the eighth and final spot. The Falcons have a combination of opponents they could host during Saturday's quarterfinal contest in Aurora University, Benedictine University or MSOE.

In the 10-year history of head coach Stacey Brunner-Jones, the Falcons have controlled the Sabres to the tune of a 13-6 record. They are also 13-1 in the NACC era and have won seven straight in Fond du Lac by an average of 15 points.

Senior Katie Luethe (Oshkosh, Wis.) leads the team with a 14.1 points and 7.1 rebounds per game. Sophomore Megan Coenen (Green Bay, Wis.) is averaging 11.6 points and 6.8 rebounds per contest, while freshman Tori Riechers (Cedarburg, Wis.) is scoring 10.3 per game.

Seniors Anna Butler (Kewaskum, Wis.) and Camille Parsons (Urbana, Ill.) have combined for 146 assists this season.

MU (7-17, 7-12 NACC) has won two in a row on the road after dropping back-to-back games at home. The Sabres are a team that loves the long ball, as they lead the NACC with eight 3-pointers per game. They are led by Sarah Albert's 15.1 points and Dani Huray's 3.8 assists per outing.
