Women's Basketball receiving votes in D3Hoops.com poll

MEQUON, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin received two votes in the latest D3Hoops.com poll released on Dec. 8. The D3Hoops.com Top-25 poll is voted on by a panel of 25 coaches, athletic communicators and media members across the country and is published weekly.

CUW boast a 7-0 overall record and a 4-0 record in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference. The undefeated start is the best in the 10 years of leadership by head coach Stacey Brunner-Jones.

The Falcons are outscoring their opponents by 11.7 points per game, including two 24-plus point victories last week. They also rank sixth in the country with a 12.7 turnovers per game average.

It is the second time in the Brunner-Jones era the Falcons have received votes. During the week 13 release of the poll on Feb. 25, 2007, they received four votes.

CUW returns to action on Thursday with a pivotal NACC matchup at Lakeland College starting at 7 p.m.
