Luethe named NACC Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week
WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin forward Katie Luethe has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for events of Nov. 11-17, as selected by the league's athletic communicators.
Luethe (Oshkosh, Wis.) scored 19 points and added seven rebounds in leading the Falcons (1-0) to a 77-65 season-opening win over Augustana College on Saturday. She added a pair of steals and shot 47 percent (7-for-15) from the floor. The senior forward also made all three of her free throw attempts and knocked down two of her four shots from 3-point range.
The weekly honor is the first of the season for the league and is also the first of Luethe's career.
