Riechers named NACC Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week
WAUKESHA, Wis. – Concordia University Wisconsin forward Tori Riechers has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball Student-Athlete of the Week for events of Dec. 30-Jan. 5, as selected by the league's athletic communicators.
Riechers (Cedarburg, Wis.) scored a career-high 29 points to lead CUW (10-1, 7-1 NACC) to a 69-56 win at Rockford University on Saturday. The freshman was 11-for-17 from the field and 7-of-9 from the free throw line, pulled down a career-high 13 rebounds and stole a career-best three passes.
The weekly honor is the first of her career and the second of the season for the Falcons.
