Softball is Selected to Defend the NACC Crown
MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its 2023 Softball Preseason Poll on Tuesday afternoon.
The Falcons were picked to defend their crown with 337 points and 25 first-place votes.
The Raiders of MSOE are projected to finish in second place with 293 points.
The Spartans of Aurora earned 291 points and one first-place vote.
Last year, the Falcons won the NACC regular season title at 20-3 and the NACC Tournament title with victories over Benedictine and MSOE.
Concordia Wisconsin advanced all the way to the NCAA Division III Tournament Regional Finals in 2023 at 36-6.
The Falcons open the 2023 campaign on Saturday at the Wisconsin-Stevens Point Pointer Invitational.
NACC play opens up for CUW on March 26 at Dominican.
