Karoline Haugland claims NACC women’s soccer honors

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced its Players of the Week in women's soccer on Tuesday morning and Karoline Haugland claimed the title of NACC Offensive Player of the Week.

"Karoline has been our engine early this season," said head coach Ryan Middendorf. "Her work rate and competitive nature is contagious. One of Karoline's strengths is her ability to read each new game and recognize how she can be impactful within the game."

A freshman from Bergen, Norway, Haugland is claiming the honor for the first time in her career.

Haugland helped the Falcons go 2-0-0 on the week with victories over Lake Forest and Saint Mary's.

Against Lake Forest, she recorded three goals and an assist.

She leads CUW with 11 points, on five goals and an assist.

Haugland and the Falcons return to play on Saturday in the NACC opener at Lakeland.
