NEWSWORTHY NOTES
• WIN ANOTHER?: Concordia Wisconsin's eight-game winning streak is tied for the longest put together by this senior class during their time as Falcons. The five helped the program put together an eight-game winning streak from January 28 to February 23 last season.
• OUR TURN: Wisconsin Lutheran had the upper hand on Concordia Wisconsin for five years, winning 10-straight games during that time. The Falcons halted their disappointment and won the last six games. Last year CUW defeated WLC three times within 44 days late in the season by an average of 13.3 points.
• SHARING IS VALUABLE: Concordia Wisconsin is on a record pace, averaging 15.5 assists per game. Overall, four Falcons have 20-plus helpers and are led by Baylee Barker's 33 dimes. As a team, they have accumulated 155 assists compared to 131 turnovers. More so, they have a 1.18 assist-to-turnover ratio, which is on pace to shatter the program's single-season record.
• NACC POW DOMINANCE: The Falcons are dominating the NACC headlines, winning five-consecutive Player of the Week honors. Audrey Scharmer and Brianna Wagner each were awarded the accolade twice, while Baylee Barker was tabbed POW once.
• SCOUTING WISCONSIN LUTHERAN: The Warriors are also on an eight-game winning streak entering Tuesday's contest. They have defeated opponents by an average of nearly 15 points per game and held them to 38 percent from the field. WLC is led by Jen Dowden who averages 18.3 points per game (second in the NACC) and has scored 20-plus five times. Caitlin Knueppel is second on the team in scoring (15.1). The Warriors have held their opponents to under 50 points in four of eight wins this season.
