Wagner tabbed NACC Player of the Week
WAUKESHA, Wis. -- Concordia Wisconsin's Brianna Wagner was tabbed as the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Women's Basketball Player of the Week, the league office announced on Monday night.
Wagner (Fond du Lac, Wis.) averaged 22.5 points and 7.5 rebounds per game in a 1-1 week to start the Falcons season. The senior forward poured in a career-best 26 points in the season opener against No. 13 Hope College. She then posted a double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds in a NACC win at Lakeland University Saturday. Wagner was 10-of-11 from the charity stripe for the week, and also averaged three blocks per game, four of those coming against the Muskies.
The conference weekly honor is the first of the season and the second of her career.
