Barker named NACC Player of the Week

WAUKESHA, Wis. – For the third straight week, a Concordia University Wisconsin Women's Basketball player has been named the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Student-Athlete of the Week, as the league office announced its weekly awards Monday afternoon. This week, junior guard Baylee Barker was honored with the Women's Basketball weekly award.

Barker (Oconomowoc, Wis.) scored 16 points in each of the Falcons NACC wins last week, one on the road at Marian and the other at home against Dominican. Barker connected on 7-of-11 shots at Marian and produced 16 more points against the Stars.

Barker added five assists for the week and perhaps her most impressive stat line was zero turnovers in 56 minutes on the court. The Falcons improved to 4-0 in the NACC with the two wins.

She joins Brianna Wagner and Audrey Scharmer as NACC Weekly award winners for the Women's Basketball program this season. 

Barker and the Falcons will visit Rockford for a league game Saturday at 4:15 p.m.
