HOW IT HAPPENED
- A victory for the NACC standings and a trip to the CIT Championship game were on the line, and the Falcons just didn't have enough firepower down the stretch. The Cougars went on an 18-8 scoring run over the final seven minutes and 48 seconds of the game.
- The headline for Concordia Wisconsin and a game many people will remember will be the outstanding performance by senior Audrey Scharmer (Winona, Minn.) The forward recorded the first 20-20 game in program history with 24 points and 21 rebounds. For most players, it is difficult to record a double-double but the forward had one in the books by halftime - her 10th of the season.
- In a back-and-forth game that featured five scoring ties and 10 lead changes, and the Falcons led by as many as six points with 1:22 to play before halftime. Concordia Chicago slowed chipped away at the deficit and pulled away until leading by 10 points for the second time with the game in hand and 13 seconds to play.
- Senior Brianna Wagner (Fond du Lac, Wis.) also had 10 points and six rebounds for the Falcons, while junior Baylee Barker (Oconomowoc, Wis.) tallied 13 points. Junior Marciarae' Harmon (Milwaukee, Wis.) had seven points, three rebounds, three assists, two steals and block off the bench in 28 minutes.
