Bayer, Sias named MCHA All-Academic

MILWAUKEE – Brandon Bayer and Billy Sias were named to the Midwest Collegiate Hockey Association All-Academic Team for their efforts in the classroom, the league office announced.

The duo becomes the 33rd and 34th student-athletes from CUW's team to earn the accolade.

Bayer (junior, Milwaukee, Wis.) is a double major in marketing and business management with a 3.39 cumulative grade point average. This season his appeared in 21 games, scoring nine points (three goals, six assists).

Sias (senior, Bloomington, Minn.) is a psychology major with a 3.45 cumulative grade point average. This season he earned a victory in the season finale after making 21 saves.
