Six Falcons Snag All-NACC Honors

MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its all-conference teams and major award winners for women's soccer on Wednesday afternoon. The Falcons finished in fourth place in the NACC at 9-2-1. The Falcons earned three first-team selections in Selena Esten, Karoline Haugland and Carmen Rowe and three second-team selections in Brooke Braga, Isabel Downs and Jordan Lafferty.

Selena Esten

A senior midfielder from Cedarburg, Wisconsin, Selena Esten is claiming her fourth-straight All-NACC honor. Esten was second in NACC in scoring with 25 points in 11 matches played with 10 goals and five assists. She scored two game-winning goals in NACC play against St. Norbert and Concordia Chicago. The Wisconsin native also led the NACC with 51 shots.

Karoline Haugland

A senior midfielder from Bergen, Norway, Karoline Haugland is claiming All-NACC accolades for the fourth-straight season. Haugland finished NACC play with four goals and six assists. She also scored the game-winning goal at Marian.

Carmen Rowe

A sophomore defender from Copley, Ohio, Carmen Rowe is appearing on her second-straight All-NACC team. Rowe helped anchor one of the strongest defenses in the NACC. The Falcons' defense averaged 0.83 goals against in conference play.

Brooke Braga

A sophomore goalie from Belgium, Wisconsin, Brooke Braga is making her first appearance on an All-NACC team. Braga posted the second-highest save percentage in the conference at 0.828. She also boasted a 0.769 goals-against average and 3.92 saves per match. She also led the NACC with nine shutouts.

Isabel Downs

A senior forward from Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, Isabel Downs is claiming All-NACC honored for the fourth-straight year. Downs led the NACC in scoring on the season with 26 points on 10 goals and six assists. She also had two game-winning goals against Aurora and Edgewood. Her 10 goals rank first in the NACC and the six assists are the third-most in the conference.

Jordan Lafferty

A senior midfielder from Surprise, Arizona, Jordan Lafferty is making her second-straight appearance on an All-NACC team. Lafferty scored two goals and three assists and scored the game-winning goal against Benedictine.

Claudia Marti Fanlo of Illinois Tech was voted as the NACC Offensive Player of the Year. Dominican had the Defensive Player of the Year with Sophia Bartridge and Natalia Lopez as the NACC Freshman of the Year. The Coaching Staff of the Year went to Edgewood.
