Falcons Wipe Out Wisconsin Lutheran

MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The CUW women's soccer team took on the Wisconsin Lutheran Warriors under the lights in Milwaukee.

Four different Falcons recorded goals in the 4-0 victory over the Warriors.

In the 12th minute, junior Sabrina Moore (Park Ridge, Ill.) got the feed from senior Isabel Downs (Menomonee Falls, Wis.) and netted the first goal of the contest.

Moore gave back with a feed to senior Selena Esten (Cedarburg, Wis.) in the 13th minute to take the 2-0 lead early.

Just four minutes later, Downs netted her first goal of the game to push the Falcons out even further.

The final goal of the matchup came in the 31st minute off the foot of sophomore Maya Bell (West Bend, Wis.).

The back line of the Falcons was everything short of a brick wall making sophomore Brooke Braga's (Belgium, Wis.) job easy with only two saves added to her clean sheet for the matchup.

Esten led the Blue and White with five shots on goal in her 53 minutes on the pitch.

The Falcons look to add to their three-game win streak in their matchup with Illinois Tech on Saturday.
