Brooke Braga Repeats as NACC Defensive Player of the Week
MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Student-Athlete of the Week awards on Tuesday morning for women's soccer. Brooke Braga was voted as the NACC Defensive Player of the Week for the second-straight week by the NACC sports information professionals.
A sophomore from Belgium, Wisconsin, Brooke Braga is claiming the honor for the second time in her career.
Braga posted two shutout victories on the week against Aurora and Benedictine.
She opened the week with a three-save performance against Aurora and netted five saves against Benedictine.
Ashley Welk of Marian was voted as the NACC Offensive Player of the Week.
Braga and the Falcons resume NACC play on Wednesday night at Wisconsin Lutheran.
