
Women’s Soccer Sweeps NACC Weekly Honors
MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) announced its Student-Athletes of the Week on Tuesday morning. Senior Karoline Haugland was voted the NACC Offensive Player of the Week and Brooke Braga was also voted the NACC Defensive Player of the Week for women's soccer by the sports information professionals within the conference.
A senior from Bergen, Norway, Karoline Haugland is claiming the title for the first time this season and the third time in her career. She claimed the honor twice during the 2019 season.
She scored two assists in the 6-0 victory over Lakeland to close the regular season.
Haugland then scored three goals and an assist in the 6-0 victory over Edgewood in the NACC Tournament Quarterfinals.
A sophomore from Belgium, Wisconsin, Brooke Braga is claiming the honor for the third time this season.
The Wisconsin native had back-to-back shutouts on the week.
She had one save against Lakeland and six saves against Edgewood in the NACC Tournament. She has 13 shutouts on the season in net.
The Falcons are back in action on Tuesday in the NACC Tournament Semifinals at Dominican.
