RIVER FOREST, Ill. – The CUW women's soccer team took on the Concordia Chicago Cougars in their last NACC road contest.
The Falcons came out hot with two goals in the first half with senior Selena Esten (Cedarburg, Wis.) netting a penalty shot in the 28th minute.
Freshman Sarah Klopp (Glendale, Wis.) netted the second Falcon goal in the 42nd minute off an assist from senior Julianna VanBoxtel (Little Chute, Wis.).
Esten slid her second goal past the netminder in the 66th minute off an assist from senior Isabel Downs (Menomonee Falls, Wis.).
The Falcons finished the matchup with nine shots on goal and sophomore Brooke Braga (Belgium, Wis.) recorded her 11th shutout with one save in the contest.
The Falcons head home on Wednesday for their last regular-season matchup against the Lakeland Muskies.
