Men's Hockey Duo Earns Krampade/AHCA All-American Scholar Honors
MEQUON, Wis. – The American Hockey Coaches Association (AHCA) released its Krampade All-American Scholars for NCAA Division III.
To qualify, a student-athlete must have attained a 3.75 GPA for each semester and had to appear in 40% of the team's games. Exceptions were granted to injured players and back-up goaltenders.
The Falcons were represented by freshman goaltender Dolan Gilbert of South Bend, Indiana and freshman forward Ben Pizzimenti of Iowa City, Iowa. This is the first time that they have claimed the honor.
In total, 461 NCAA Division III men's hockey student-athletes were honored.
