No. 5 St. Norbert Sinks Men’s Hockey

MEQUON, Wis. – The Falcons fell in the first matchup of the weekend with No. 5 St. Norbert on Friday night. The Green Knights won the meeting with a 4-1 victory.

The Falcons were holding tough in the first period before SNC scored two goals in the final 30 seconds.

St. Norbert scored again in the second period.

The Falcons found the back of the net on a power play in the third period off the stick of freshman Jaron Ketterman (Palmer, Alaska) after freshman Nick Maksymiu (Chicago, Ill.) stole the puck back for the Falcons.

The Green and Gold scored on an empty net to close the scoring.

The fifth-ranked Green Knights held a 58-24 advantage in shots on Friday.

Freshman Gabe Rosek (East Lansing, Mich.) had 54 saves on 57 shots faced.

Junior Joey Petronack (White Bear Lake, Minn.) had five of the 24 shots for Concordia.

The Falcons look to level the series tomorrow night.
