Men's Hockey Picked Ninth in NCHA Preseason Poll

DULUTH, Minn. – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) released its preseason coaches poll on Thursday afternoon.

The Falcons are projected to finish in a tie for ninth place with 13 points.

The Blue and White are tied with Finlandia in the poll.

The defending national champions, Adrian are projected to defend its title with 81 points and nine first-place votes.

St. Norbert is slated second in the poll with 71 points.

The Spartans of Aurora earned 66 points and one first-place vote.  

CUW opens the season on Oct. 28 against St. Scholastica. NCHA play begins on Nov. 11 against Trine.
