Blue Devils Bounce Men's Hockey

MEQUON, Wis. – The CUW men's hockey program closed its opening weekend against Wisconsin-Stout on Saturday evening. The Blue Devils remained unbeaten on the young season with a 9-1 victory.

The lone CUW goal was scored in the second period off the stick of freshman Noah Roitman (Inver Grove Heights, Minn.) and an assist to sophomore Zach Brydges (Woodbury, Minn.).

Roitman has now scored in both of the games for CUW this season.

Wisconsin-Stout held a 57-21 advantage on shots on Saturday.

Freshman Gabe Rosek (East Lansing, Mich.) had 43 saves.

Sophomore Andrew Malek (Milwaukee, Wis.) led the flock with three shots.

CUW looks to bounce back next weekend at Wisconsin-River Falls.
