CUW Men’s Hockey to Host Annual Teddy Bear Toss

MEQUON, Wis. – With the holiday season approaching, the Concordia Wisconsin men's hockey team has scheduled its annual "teddy bear toss" for Friday night against Saint John's.

A "teddy bear toss" is popular in hockey this time of year to provide stuffed animals to children that come from less fortunate backgrounds. Fans are encouraged to bring their own teddy bears to the game and throw them on the ice after Concordia scores its first goal.

All bears/stuffed animals will be donated and given to the Children's Hospital of Wisconsin and given to children that may not be able to be home for the holiday season.
