Johnson, Jurss named All-NACC First Team

MILWAUKEE -- Concordia Wisconsin's Jordan Johnson and Jared Jurss each earned All-Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference First Team honors, the league office announced.

Johnson is named All-NACC for the third time in his career after Second Team a season ago and Honorable Mention his freshman year, along with Freshman of the Year honors.

Johnson (junior, Cedarburg, Wis.) led the Falcons in scoring this season at 19.5 points per game and was third amongst all NACC players during league-only games with 378 points (18.9 average). He also ranked first in NACC play in free-throw percentage (90.9), third in free-throws made (90) and seventh in defensive rebounds (101). The guard had scored 20-plus points 13 times this season, with eight of those coming in conference games.

Jurss (Sheboygan, Wis.) had a breakout season during his sophomore campaign and led the NACC in assists 151 during league games, which was 60 more than the next best passer in the NACC. He dished out eight or more assists in 12 games, with nine coming in conference games. The guard also averaged 10.5 points and 3.8 rebounds.

Concordia Wisconsin is 19-9 overall and finished third in the NACC with a 15-5 record, and won the NACC Tournament Championship to advance to the NCAA Division III Tournament for the fourth time in program history.
