Jared Jurss named NACC Student-Athlete of the Week
MEQUON, Wis. – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference announced its weekly awards on Tuesday morning and the NACC named Jared Jurss the Student-Athlete of the Week in Men's Basketball.
"Jared played an outstanding game on Saturday," said head coach Shawn Cassidy. "He showed great leadership in a tough road win.
A sophomore from Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Jared Jurss is claiming the honor for the first time in his career.
In the 87-60 victory on Saturday at Dominican, he scored 16 points, collected a career-high 10 rebounds and added nine assists.
Jurss and the Falcons return to action on Wednesday at Wisconsin Lutheran.
