Men's Basketball competes in CIT title game

RIVER FOREST, Ill. -- Concordia Wisconsin dropped the CIT title game, 92-55, to Concordia Nebraska on Saturday night inside Geiseman Gymnasium. The Bulldogs are receiving votes in the latest NAIA Division II poll.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Concordia Wisconsin couldn't slow down the red-hot shooting of Concordia Nebraska, who hit 15 3-pointers, including 11 in the first half. The Bulldogs built a 53-33 first-half lead and maintained the advantage in the second half.
- The Falcons had three players in double-figures, led by junior Jordan Johnson (Cedarburg, Wis.) who scored 13 points, to go along with seven rebounds. Sophomore Brandon Keller (Plymouth, Wis.) recorded 12 points, while senior Olalekan George (Milwaukee, Wis.) had 11 points and two steals in 15 minutes off the bench. Sophomore Jared Jurss (Sheboygan, Wis.) had five assists and junior Garrett Hoffmann (Belgium, Wis.) scored eight points.
- Junior Joey Zietlow (Oak Creek, Wis.) was named to the All-CIT Team to represent the Falcons after scoring nine points, grabbing nine rebounds and dishing out two assists.
- Concordia Nebraska was led by Tanner Shuck who scored 18 points. Choul Biel grabbed a game-high 12 rebounds.

- Concordia Wisconsin returns to NACC play on Wednesday with a 7 pm contest against Dominican inside the R. John Buuck Field House.
